Summer is slowly approaching and is still months away, but organizers for the Waxhaw “Saluting the Red, White and Blue” July 4th Parade are already looking for participants for the Tuesday, July 4th 2006 event.
The Town Of

There are opportunities for group and organization motorized floats, performance groups and marching bands. Entry fees range from $10 to $30. The parade gets under way at 10 am on Tuesday, July 4th on
South Providence Street
.
Thousands of spectators line the parade route each year to enjoy the display of creative floats, performance groups and the sights-and-sounds of the holiday. Groups or individuals interested in participating can call 704-309-0574. The registration deadline is June 26th.
